Download and install SQList

If you have received your order and license confirmation emails, it is now time to download and install SQList.

If you are upgrading to a newer version:

Uninstall the current version of SQList (use the Windows "Add/Remove programs" or "Uninstall a program", depending of the version of Windows) before proceeding with the following steps.
You can download SQList from our website at www.axioworks.com/sqlist-download; you can find this link also in your license confirmation email. The SQList installation comes into one single msi package named SQListSetup.msi.



Before you download: please be aware of some warnings that you may receive when you download, install, or run SQList.
Once you have downloaded the SQList msi installation package, saved it onto your disk, double-click SQListSetup.msi to start the installation. The process is straight forward, unless you have particular requirements, you can simple accept all default options by clicking the "Next" button on all 5 steps:


Two programs get installed on your computer or server:
  • SQList Manager: this is the UI to SQList that you will use to set up your replications, start, stop and monitor the SQList service;
  • SQList Service: this is the service that runs in the background and keeps the data in the SQL Server tables in synch with the SharePoint lists.
By default, SQList is installed in the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\AxioWorks\AxioWorks SQList, and the SQList service is installed as a Local Windows Service named AxioWorks SQList.

And that is it! You are now ready to run SQList and install your license.
